Requirements
The LinkedIn Feed add-on must have been installed by your Dualoo admin (this is installed in all accounts by default). Instructions for installation can be found here.
Recruiter rights (authorization to collaborate on processes/dossiers)
You need a job with online application enabled. Read here how to publish the job.
Access to your LinkedIn profile or your company's LinkedIn profile (a procedure for people without a LinkedIn account is described here)
Direct integrations - Job as a post in LinkedIn feed
Go to the jobs settings via the button
in the menu item ‘Publish’.
2. Under the item ‘Direct Integrations’, click on ‘Start Publication’ under “Platform” ‘LinkedIn Feed’.
3. In the drop-down menu, you can choose between publishing via the company page ‘Company’ or via your personal account ‘Personal’.
Note: To post on your LinkedIn company page (i.e. as a company), you need the appropriate authorization in your LinkedIn company account. If you do not have admin access to the company's LinkedIn profile or do not have a LinkedIn account at all, we describe the options available to you here.
4. After making your selection, you will be automatically redirected to LinkedIn and the post for the feed will be prepared. If you are not automatically logged in, you will need to enter your LinkedIn password and log in.
5. The post will now be automatically entered (including the image) and you can add your desired text. You can also use hashtags here to increase your reach.
Note: The social media image for the job, which is stored under ‘advertisement’ for the corresponding job, will be used for the post image.
6. Then you can post the contribution and publish it in the LinkedIn feed.
7. This is how the post appears in the feed.
Tip: Share the link with your company profile and invite your colleagues and employees to share the link via LinkedIn.
8. Now all you have to do is wait for online applications and then check the job settings to see how many applications you have received via the LinkedIn feed.
9. If you want to pause the link for further applications via LinkedIn, click on the edit button and select ‘Pause job posting’. The post will not be deleted from your LinkedIn profile, but the link to the advertisement will no longer be active. When you click on the post, the message ‘Job advertisement expired’ will appear.
Option: LinkedIn post without access to company pages
As a recruiter, you may not have a LinkedIn account, or you may have a personal account but not have the rights to publish posts on the LinkedIn company page (i.e. as a company). This may also be a deliberate policy to keep communication via the LinkedIn channel consistent.
Below you will find the procedure for copying the correct link to the desired LinkedIn post. This allows you to forward it to the marketing department or the responsible person so that the post can then be published via the company page with just a few clicks.
1. Before proceeding with the following steps, please first complete the steps 1–2 in the instructions above and then continue here.
2. In the drop-down menu, select the option ‘Personal’ via your personal account.
3. After clicking Share, you will be automatically redirected to LinkedIn.
4. Copy the entire URL displayed in the browser. Even without a LinkedIn account or access to the company page, you can copy the full URL from the browser's address bar.

5. Send this URL to the responsible person, for example by email or via another internal channel. This person does not need access to Dualoo.
Further steps for the LinkedIn responsible person (marketing)
In points 6–10 below, we describe the additional steps/procedure for the LinkedIn responsible person.
6. Clicking on the link or pasting the link into the browser opens LinkedIn and the post is prepared in the personal profile.
7. Clicking on your own name opens the ‘settings for posts’ window. There you can click on your own profile.
8. All profiles to which you have access will be displayed. Select the desired profile and then click on ‘Save’.
9. You will now return to the ‘Settings for posts’ overview and can either make further settings or click directly on ‘Finish’.
10. The post will now be displayed under the correct name and can be published by clicking on ‘Post’.
Activate LinkedIn icon on advertisement
You can achieve greater reach on LinkedIn if employees and other interested parties, including external individuals, can easily share your job advertisements. This is also worthwhile if you do not want to publish your own LinkedIn post: by activating LinkedIn Feed, the LinkedIn share icon appears directly in the advertisement (next to the print icon), allowing third parties to publish the advertisement on LinkedIn with just a few clicks.
1. Open the detailed settings for the desired job and activate the LinkedIn feed under ‘Publish’ → ‘Direct integrations’ by clicking the ‘Start Publication’ button.
2. Close the LinkedIn window that opens automatically without publishing the post.
3. Sharing the advertisement on LinkedIn has now been activated in the advertisement. The people who are to publish the post on their personal or company LinkedIn profile can now do so on LinkedIn.
Publish jobs on LinkedIn
Below you will find instructions on how to integrate the Dualoo link to the input mask in your (paid) LinkedIn job advertisements.
Tip: To help you evaluate which applications were received via LinkedIn Jobs, we recommend entering a label/link called ‘LinkedIn Jobs’ under ‘Manual links (other job platforms, etc.)’.
This feature is also available as a direct installation/add-on:
Simply publication without any manual effort. You can see how it works here:
Go to the ‘Jobs’ menu in Dualoo and select the job you want to advertise on LinkedIn. Under ‘Manual links (other job platforms, etc.)’, create a new link for the ‘LinkedIn Jobs’ label. Here you will find general instructions on how to enter links for job portals and social media.
Tip: Use different labels for LinkedIn Jobs and the LinkedIn feed (you can find this label under (Google & social media posting (direct integrations)) to evaluate the two channels individually.
2. Now switch to LinkedIn and log in with your company profile.
3. Go to Jobs and click on ‘Post a free job advertisement’.
4. Enter the required information about the job as usual.
5. Important: In the menu item "How would you like to receive your applications?", click on "via an external website". Then enter the link to the application form from Dualoo.
6. Close the job posting. If desired, you can also apply for the advertised job. Please note: Only one job posting can be published free of charge.
7. Here you can see an example from one of our customers of how the job advertisements look under LinkedIn Jobs and also on the company's LinkedIn page under Jobs. You can also see how the applicant lands in the Dualoo input mask via the Apply button:
8. Now all you have to do is wait for online applications and you can see how many applications you have received via LinkedIn Jobs in the job settings.
Tip: Also post the job in the LinkedIn feed and invite your colleagues and employees to share the link via LinkedIn.
General tips and tricks for LinkedIn posts / contributions
Link & preview: Insert link until the preview loads, then enter the desired text and additions before the link.
Long links: these are often shortened automatically (display), but the destination remains the same.
Charming approach: write briefly and friendly: 1 sentence about what the job entails, 1 sentence about what is offered (team/working hours/development) and, for example, that you look forward to receiving the application.
Hashtags: 3–6 appropriate # (e.g. #Job #StGallen #Care #apprenticeship).
Clean structure: Link at the end, no collection of links.
If no preview: Insert link again.
