Why do I need multiple applicant portals?
Multiple applicant portals make sense if, for example, jobs for employees and apprentices are advertised on separate pages on the website or you want to present one portal (career section) per location or area.
It also makes sense if you want to operate an internal (e.g. intranet) and an external (e.g. website) application portal.
The online application portals can also use different designs.
Adding a new application portal
1. Click on "Settings" at the top of the menu. Select the sub-item "Online application portals" under the title "Module recruitment".
2. Click on + to add a new portal.
3. Name the new job portal (e.g. apprenticeship portal) and "Save" the new name.
Settings and information for online application portals
1. URL:
The online application portal can be accessed via this URL. As soon as jobs are published on the portal, they will be displayed. This URL is also required for integration on the website.
2. Application portal design:
Select the desired template under ‘Application portal design’. You can find out how to design a new template here.
3. Language:
This is the main language of the portal. If nothing else is defined, jobs will be displayed in this language.
5. Additional job portal languages:
For accounts with multiple recruitment languages, define a main language, i.e. the language in which the application portal should be displayed as a priority. Then select the other desired languages. Applicants can independently change the displayed language of the advertisements and the input mask.
6. Height of the "website header" in pixels
If the portal is embedded in a website as an iframe, there will typically be a gap needed for the menu/website header. This can be entered here in pixels. The default value is 100 px.
Navigation:
Here you will find a legend showing where the corresponding areas of the navigation bar are displayed in the job overview in the portal.
1. Show search and sorting
The search and sort function in the application portal can be activated or deactivated here.
2. Additionally display labels (apprenticeship / internship / employees) on the job overview
By activating this checkbox, you can switch the display of the labels on or off on the job overview.
3. Display logo on job overview
Activating the checkbox shows or hides the logo of the respective location of the job.
Further settings:
In the further settings, you can prohibit the crawling of portals. This information is provided in the background and prevents pages from being found by web crawlers (search engines) by mistake and the use of this content.
Activating the checkbox is particularly useful when using preview or draft portals.
