How can custom email addresses be used for sending emails?

What are the reasons / advantages of using your own email domain?

Sending emails via your own domain offers a number of advantages. It strengthens the professional image of your company and increases the trust of Recipients as the emails originate from your address.

The user's e-mail address or a specific e-mail address (e.g. [email protected]) can be used.

It is also possible to freely define the sender's name for the specific address.

Standard e-mail domain from Dualoo

We do everything we can to ensure that our emails do not end up in the spam folder. We use authenticated sender addresses and strictly adhere to anti-spam guidelines. Our messages are compliant with the latest security standards:

  • SPF

  • DKIM

  • DMARC

We send emails with the following domain:

The first name, surname and company name appear by default. Depending on the email provider, the email address will be displayed directly after the information or will only become visible when clicking on Details. This procedure ensures that the sender is recognisable at a glance and improves the transparency and trustworthiness of our communication.

How do I activate the add-on?

1. Go to the ‘App Store’ menu item in the ‘Settings’ and click on the ‘Details’ button of the Custom e-mail address integration.

2. Go to the settings tab. All domains that are in use in your Dualoo account are listed there. This means all domains of the employees‘ (users’) email addresses in your account.

3. You can now set all desired domains to ‘On’.

4. Optional - Sending via a single central e-mail address
Once the button has been set to ‘On’, you can also optionally define an e-mail address and the name for outgoing e-mails. Otherwise the emails will continue to be sent with our standard ‘First name, surname, company name’, but of course now directly from your domain. If you would like to use a single central e-mail address instead of your own e-mail address, you can define this here.



5. Give Dualoo permission to send emails with your own domain by ticking the checkbox.

6. Click on "Install" (causes costs).

7. You will receive an e-mail with instructions which you can forward to your IT department.

8. As soon as IT has set all DNS entries, you can book a meeting with our technical support (booking link can be found in the e-mail). We will then check the setup together and make sure that everything is working smoothly.

Information: Answers from candidates will continue to be sent to the corresponding conversion e-mail address with the Dualoo domain.

How much does it cost to use my own e-mail domain?

The costs are calculated in simple package sizes, depending on the size of the company. The costs are invoiced with the subscription invoice.
