Requirements
How can advertisements be published directly on jobs.ch?
1. Open the desired job using the button
2. Go to the 'Publish' section.
3. Under ‘Direct Integrations’, activate the Publication on jobs.ch by clicking on the ‘Start Publication’ button.
4. After clicking the button, further information will appear. Select the jobs.ch advertising option you want. Then click on ‘Order now’.
5. The job will now be published on jobs.ch within 24 hours (during working days). All information can be viewed by clicking on the info button, and the corresponding advertisement can be opened on jobs.ch by clicking on the job advertisement link as soon as it is online.
How does this work with contingents and slots?
The available remaining contingent or available slots are updated after each publication and displayed here.
If there are no more slots available, either a publication must be stopped so that the slot can be used for another job, or additional slots must be purchased and stored in the Dualoo settings. A corresponding message will be displayed.
If no contingent is available, additional contingent must be purchased and stored in the Dualoo settings. A corresponding message will be displayed.
Re-publication – restart publication
1. Open the desired job using the button
2. Go to the ‘Publish’ section.
3. Under ‘Direct integrations’, activate the “expired” Publication by clicking on the ‘Start Publication’ button.
4. Select the type of re-publication.
If you have not made any changes to the advertisement, contact persons or images since the last publication, you can select a re-publication ‘without content changes’. In this case, the advertisement will be published identically to the last publication. In all other cases, or if you are unsure whether anything has been changed, select ‘Changed content (text, images, etc.)’.
5. Then specify which jobs.ch advertising option you would like. Then click on ‘Order now’.
Pause or terminate publication
There are two options on the three-dot button.
Terminate publication
By clicking on the three dots and then ‘Terminate publication’ or , the advertisement will be removed from jobs.ch. If you wish to repost the advertisement at a later date, you will incur new advertising costs.
Pause publication (recommended only in exceptional cases)
Clicking on the three dots and then ‘Pause publication’ or will only deactivate the link to the application form or the advertisement. However, the advertisement itself will continue to be published on jobs.ch. However, if you click on the advertisement or the Apply button, the message ‘Job advertisement expired’ will appear. Therefore, this option is only recommended in exceptional cases where it is likely that the advertisement will be reactivated soon. Otherwise, it is better to terminate the advertisement and, in the event of republication, place a new order subject to a fee.
If the advertisement is still active (indicated by the status ‘paused’), it can be republished by clicking ‘Start Publication’ at no additional cost.
The entire history of all publications is listed under the Info button.
Frequently asked questions:
How long does it take for my advertisement to appear on jobs.ch?
Advertisements are published on jobs.ch within 24 hours (on working days) after being placed in Dualoo. For subscription advertisements, this deadline only applies once Prospective has received the contract from you.
If this is the first advertisement you wish to publish via the interface, it will take a further 24 hours to activate the interface, meaning that in this case it may take up to 48 hours (during working days) for your first advertisement to be published.
How can I make changes to the content of the advertisement?
If you want to make changes to the content of the advertisement, e.g. a text change, a different image, a different category or formatting, describe the desired change as precisely as possible and send your request to: [email protected].
Can I still log in directly to jobs.ch (Job Cloud) and create new advertisements or change existing ones there?
No. Direct bookings or changes in the jobs.ch (Job Cloud) login must be avoided at all costs. Advertisements may only be managed via Dualoo or via the defined process with Prospective, even if a login would still be technically possible.
What do I have to do if a new contract (purchase of new contingents) has been completed with jobs.ch?
Enter the newly available contingent in the Dualoo settings of the add-on (by an admin). Read more here.
In addition, please send a copy of your order confirmation or contract from jobs.ch (Job Cloud) by email to Prospective with the subject line:
‘Dualoo – jobs.ch contract for subscription use in the add-on’
to the following address: [email protected].
Who will send me the invoice for individual advertisements?
When ordering individual advertisements, the relevant invoice data is transmitted to our technology partner Prospective in the background. Prospective then issues the invoice directly to the user who placed the order.
Subscriptions (subs) run directly through jobs.co.uk (Job Cloud) and are only stored in Dualoo for information and quota management purposes.
Is it possible to use ‘pay-per-performance’ (PPP) in conjunction with jobs.co.uk advertisements?
No. Unfortunately, the ‘pay-per-performance’ (PPP) model cannot be technically supported in the current setup.
