A recorded job without 'advertisement' or pdf advertisement (which should be replaced) In this tutorial you can see how to create a position
Enter an advertisement for a new job
1. When creating a new job, after entering the general data for the job, you will be taken to the ‘Advertisements’ section.
Here, you must first ‘Add an online publication’ in order to enter an advertisement. You can prepare an advertisement for different step types (application receipt or multi-day event, trial work, etc.), which is then used in the online publication.
2. ‘Process step’ – as previously selected (can be adjusted again here)
3. ‘Responsible person (e-mail notification when application is received): *’
This person is stored as the responsible person in the process step and is notified by e-mail each time a new application is received. In addition, this person will be displayed in the signature of the confirmation of receipt that is automatically sent.
4. “Input masks and buttons for application portal”: if there are several to choose from, select the appropriate one.
5. “Automatic confirmation of receipt by e-mail”: if there are several to choose from, select the appropriate template. This e-mail is sent automatically when an online application/registration is received.
6. ‘Social media image: * A template for the social media image determines how your job advertisements are displayed when you share them on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram.
7. ’Type of advertisement:" Select digital or PDF.
We have listed the advantages of digital advertisements over PDF advertisements for you:
Perfect display on all end devices (mobile / tablet)
Publication on Google for Jobs possible (Google does not allow PDFs)
Texts can be customised and managed directly in Dualoo- No separate tool required for entering PDFs
8. ‘cover picture advertisement’
If you set this option to ‘On’, you can select from the stored images for display in the “Job offer” (above as cover picture). If there is no suitable image available, please contact your administrator. Only images stored by your administrator are available for selection.
9. ‘Contact person 1 in the advertisement (contact): *’ Select the contact person who will appear on the advertisement as the contact person from the drop-down menu.
10. ‘Contact person 2 in the advertisement (superiors):’
If this option is set to ‘On’, a second contact person can be selected, who will also be displayed on the advertisement.
11. Showing/hiding the telephone number in the advertisement
The checkbox for hiding the telephone number can be found under Advertisements, directly below ‘application received by / Contact person advertisement:*’. The field is activated by default (telephone number is displayed). If you remove the tick, the telephone number will not be displayed in the advertisement.
View with telephone number for contact 1 and without for contact 2:
Here, too, you can use a check mark to select whether the telephone number should be displayed. (This setting is made by an admin in ‘Layout advertisement’). Read more here: What can I specify in the layout advertisement?
12. "Advertisement title publication'
Here you can define a completely independent advertisement title (job title) for the publication of the advertisement. Initially, the gender-neutral professional title is used, but this can be overridden with this field.
This option is only available for digital advertisements.
Important: In communications (emails/letters) with applicants, the job title is not used; instead, the placeholder for the job profile B_BERUF is used.
13. ‘Introduction’ (optional field)
If you set the ‘Introduction’ button to ‘On’, you can enter a custom introduction text describing your company or a link. The title “Introduction” will not be displayed in the advertisement.
14. "Tasks' & We expect (mandatory fields)
Enter the ‘Tasks’ and ‘We expect’ for the job here. You can customise the title by clicking on the area and it will be displayed accordingly in the advertisement.
15. ‘We offer’ (optional field)
You can use the ‘On/Off’ button to determine whether this field should be displayed. Enter the information about your offer here. You can customise the title by clicking on the area and it will then be displayed accordingly in the advertisement. You can simply create any further information that you would like to display in the advertisement in the text field below.
16. If necessary, the heading of the contact person(s) can be customised.
17. You now have several options for saving the advertisement (the newly created job):
‘Cancel’ - Discards all your changes and the job is not created
‘Save without publishing’ - Saves the newly created job
‘Save and publish’ - Saves the newly created job & redirects you to ‘Publish’
Find out how to check and print your advertisement before publication – at this link: Preview of a digital advertisement in the draft application portal
