Update – News from 11.12.2025

All important new features and improvements in this release are listed in this article.

Written by Tamara Gätzi

New features

👍 New overviews
The job and dossier overviews have been comprehensively revised. New columns in the job overview – for example, for open and archived applications, acceptances, due dates and ratings – ensure greater transparency. In the dossier overview, the most important applicant information is now summarised in a compact ‘Dossier’ column. In addition, internal notes can be viewed via hover and multiple applications per candidate can be clearly displayed using the plus button.

👍Additional contacts in the advertisement
The option to display a second contact person in the advertisement has been expanded. In addition, the responsible person can now be selected independently of the advertisement.

👍Optimisation of the Jobs section – Publishing
Actions in this section have been highlighted more clearly with blue buttons, e.g. the option ‘Add portal or link’. Actions such as ‘Start publication’ and ‘Terminate publication’ have also been integrated as separate options (instead of just on/off).

A preview of the advertisement and the option to copy the link to the advertisement or the input mask are now also available.

👍Add-on LinkedIn Feed – new
LinkedIn options for companies can now be configured in the settings to publish job advertisements in the company account or for multiple locations. Thanks to the integration of the XML feed, it is now also possible to connect to LinkedIn Recruiter accounts.

👍Add-on Jobs.ch – Expansion
Subscription management has been expanded: You can now specify whether the subscription is linked to contingents and slots, and the remaining credit is calculated. Application links for advertisements can be temporarily deactivated (paused). A new option, ‘Publication cancellation’, has been added, which removes the advertisement from jobs.ch.

The new ‘Ultimate Plus’ product from jobcloud is now also available in the settings.

👍New fields in the input mask
The fields ‘Nationality’ and ‘Earliest start date’ are now available in the input mask and thus also in the dossiers.

👍New release options for ratings
The options for Visability and release of ratings have been expanded (Option 1: release immediately / Option 2: release with restrictions). The rating scheme settings now allow you to define when ratings become visible to others – for example, only after a person has completed their own rating. This means that release no longer has to be done manually by recruiters, but can be controlled globally.

👍Archiving job profiles
Job profiles can now be archived and are therefore no longer available for selection when new jobs are published.

👍 Expansion of social media and cover pictures
From now on, the cover picture and social media image in the advertisement can be stored in multiple languages. In addition, the social media image can now be defined individually for each job. This has been moved to the ‘Media libraries for advertisements’ area, where images can be uploaded in one or more languages.

Further innovations

Previously, only minor optimisations were listed in this section, which is why it was referred to as ‘minor improvements’. In this release information, however, this section also includes many other innovations and improvements that were not already mentioned in the pre-information. For the sake of clarity, these are organised by topic below.

General / Background

  • The technical code of our software has been updated to the latest Angular version, making Dualoo faster, more stable and more secure. In the course of the migration, numerous improvements were also implemented – with a completely revised navigation, optimised overviews and modernised job and general settings.

  • Personal settings ‘My Account’ can now be found in the login button at the top right, and admin settings in the settings wheel button.

  • The Help Centre ? button now not only displays relevant articles, but also opens the Help Centre and chat.

  • Hovering over the overview lists now displays additional information about click behaviour. For example, whether a click opens the job settings or jumps directly to the open dossiers for the job. These tooltips are integrated in many places.

  • The IdentyFi add-on has been removed (personality analysis by gateway.one). You can find out how to continue using personality analyses manually in Dualoo here. Customers who were using the add-on were informed in advance.

  • The new page navigation in the overviews allows you to define the number of results displayed per page and makes it easier to change pages. This provides a better overview and faster loading times.

  • Extensive improvements have been made to the Dualoo display for mobile optimisation.

  • Friendly Captcha now also protects Dualoo from bots during registration and login.

  • The API update integrates new fields, such as contact persons or the nationality of applicants, into the Dualoo API. The documentation has also been revised.

  • The one-click application for jobs.ch is now ready. Customers who use the jobs.ch by prospective add-on or have already migrated to the new JobCloud AI environment will be able to use this feature shortly. Activation will take place gradually via JobCloud and can be requested proactively if required.

  • The loading time has been accelerated and is also bridged by a new logo animation.

Jobs

  • The job overview displays new columns, including the number of open applications (applications without a conclusion), archived applications, and the number of acceptances, due dates in dossiers, and ratings. In addition, you can switch directly from the overview to the respective areas, with the appropriate filters being set automatically.

  • As part of the simplification process, the language selection is no longer required when creating jobs in monolingual accounts. In addition, no further selection is required when selecting the position type, unless several modules are included in the subscription.

  • In the Jobs section under ‘Publish’ in the Yousty add-on, the sorting for selecting apprenticeships has been optimised. This is now done using a search field.

  • In the ‘Publish’ section of the “Jobs” area, the name for manual links can now be edited. There is also a duplicate check that prevents labels from being created multiple times. Read more here.

  • The ‘Completed’ status of jobs is now displayed at the top of the pop-up window. As long as this status is active, no changes can be made to texts or settings.

Dossiers

  • In the dossier overview, the most important information about applicants is now summarised in the new ‘Dossier’ column. The previous standard columns can still be shown or hidden.

  • In the dossier overview and also when selecting for mass rejection, the internal notes for the corresponding process step can now be displayed simply by hovering over the step icon.

  • The dossier overview now has an optimised view for displaying multiple applications per candidate, which can be accessed via the plus button.

  • The mass rejection function has been optimised: unusable menu items are hidden during the execution or selection of mass rejections. You can see how mass rejection works here.

  • Dossiers can now only be created manually once a job has been assigned and the first process step has been entered.

  • The selection of date and time for scheduled emails and in the process steps has been revised.

  • In the dossier, the addition of raters has been simplified:

  • All recently selected persons for the corresponding process step are suggested and can be added with a single click. Read more here.

  • In the dossier, there is now a quick access option in the job title hover, which leads to the detailed settings for the job or allows you to jump back to the dossier overview with the filtered dossiers for this job.

Ratings

  • In the ratings, the number of documents is now also displayed in the button for shared communication, making it easier to see that there are further shared communications in other steps.

  • In the detailed view of ratings, school education is now only displayed if the relevant information is available.

Employees

HR-Manager and admins can now also upload the profile picture for other employees.

Settings

  • The entry and editing of street, postcode and city have been standardised.

  • The selection of raters can now be restricted in the rights management so that only employees from the respective location can be selected.

  • Subscription management in Dualoo has been optimised, including the display of the costs of the installed add-ons. These are also displayed for demo customers when they take out a subscription.

  • Also in subscription management, the billing address (location) can now be stored in addition to the billing contact.

  • All system emails from Dualoo have been standardised, and the subject line now always includes the job title.

  • New default settings have been introduced for single-day and multi-day events, whereby the option for online publication is no longer activated by default for new steps.

Bugs and translations

  • The library for country selection has been updated – faulty translations in the fields for nationality, country of the job and location have been corrected.

  • Renaming of some process steps:

    • Event instead of break

    • One-day event instead of day internship

    • Multi-day event instead of trial apprenticeship

  • When publishing jobs, it is now called ‘Manual links (other job platforms, etc.)’ instead of ‘Links to the application form (job platforms)’.

  • The success message in the online portal has been adjusted so that this message works in both the informal and formal forms. The message now appears after submitting an application with the text: "Thank you very much. The documents have been successfully transmitted. Good luck!"

  • The name of the email attachment in automatically generated confirmation of receipt emails now corresponds to the file name of the attachment and no longer to the name of the e-mail template, which is often internal in nature.

  • When downloading documents from Dualoo, the correct file name is now displayed again.
